Warthog Series Spinning Reel

Warthog Spinning Reel — Built Tough. Fishes Smooth.

Built to handle anything that bites, the Warthog is a rugged, all-purpose freshwater spinning reel made for anglers who demand strength, smoothness, and dependability in one package. Engineered with a high-performance PA6-CF composite body and a T6-6061 aluminum spool, it delivers impressive power without unnecessary weight — so you can fish longer without wearing out.

From jigging for crappie or battling bluegill with the kids to chasing stubborn walleye and hard-charging trophy bass, the Warthog's versatile design makes it at home across a wide range of techniques and species. A stacked carbon drag system delivers steady, reliable pressure under load, while precision-cut gears and stainless-steel bearings keep every turn smooth and consistent — cast after cast, trip after trip.

LIFETIME REEL WARRANTY

All Sixgill reels purchased in 2024 and after are covered by a lifetime warranty for the original owner, protecting against defects in materials and workmanship.

Reels purchased prior to 2024 are covered under a five-year warranty from the original date of purchase.

What Is Not Covered Under Warranty:

Damage from dropping, stepping on, or otherwise striking the reel: Physical damage caused by impact is considered user-related and not a manufacturing defect.

Normal wear and tear: This includes natural degradation over time and with regular use, such as:

• Bearings and springs wearing out

• Moving parts requiring routine maintenance

• Cosmetic damage that does not affect performance

Saltwater damage: Corrosion or damage resulting from saltwater exposure is not covered. We strongly recommend rinsing and properly maintaining all gear after saltwater use.

Damage from lack of care: Issues resulting from improper maintenance, storage, or neglect are not covered. This includes failure to clean, lubricate, or address minor issues before they worsen.

While the above items are not covered under warranty, many can be repaired or serviced for a reasonable fee. Our goal is to keep your gear on the water as long as possible.
