Aether Series Spinning Reel

Aether Spinning Reel

Built for anglers who live in the finesse zone, the Aether ultralight spinning reel delivers lightweight precision without sacrificing strength. Its carbon composite frame keeps weight to a minimum while maintaining the rigidity needed for consistent performance on the water.

The precision-cut gearing and 6+1 stainless steel bearing system offer an incredibly smooth retrieve, perfect for casting small baits or working subtle presentations. A tempered aluminum spool adds durability and balance, and the multi-disc carbon drag system provides steady, reliable pressure with up to 13 pounds of stopping power on the 2000 size.

Whether you're targeting trout in clear creeks, chasing crappie on light line, or drop-shotting for finicky bass, the Aether's light, refined design and smooth operation make it your go-to for finesse techniques and ultralight setups.

Key Features:

• High-Strength Composite Frame: The Aether's carbon composite body strikes the perfect balance of durability and lightweight performance — tough enough for long days on the water, yet light enough for finesse applications.
• Precision-Cut Gears with 6+1 Bearing System: Stainless steel bearings and precision-machined gearing deliver smooth, consistent operation through every turn of the handle, making it effortless to cast lighter presentations.
• T6-6061 Aluminum Spool: The tempered aluminum spool provides added rigidity and corrosion resistance while maintaining lightweight balance for accurate, controlled casting.
• Stacked Carbon Drag System: The Aether's multi-disc carbon drag delivers steady, reliable pressure with impressive stopping power — up to 13 pounds on the 2000 size.
• Ultralight and Finesse Ready: Weighing in at just 5.2 oz (800 size), the Aether is engineered for light tackle applications where sensitivity and control make all the difference.

From chasing bluegill or trout to drop-shotting for your next personal-record largemouth, the Aether is built to handle all your light tackle needs with confidence.

LIFETIME REEL WARRANTY

All Sixgill reels purchased in 2024 and after are covered by a lifetime warranty for the original owner, protecting against defects in materials and workmanship.

Reels purchased prior to 2024 are covered under a five-year warranty from the original date of purchase.

What Is Not Covered Under Warranty:

Damage from dropping, stepping on, or otherwise striking the reel: Physical damage caused by impact is considered user-related and not a manufacturing defect.

Normal wear and tear: This includes natural degradation over time and with regular use, such as:

• Bearings and springs wearing out

• Moving parts requiring routine maintenance

• Cosmetic damage that does not affect performance

Saltwater damage: Corrosion or damage resulting from saltwater exposure is not covered. We strongly recommend rinsing and properly maintaining all gear after saltwater use.

Damage from lack of care: Issues resulting from improper maintenance, storage, or neglect are not covered. This includes failure to clean, lubricate, or address minor issues before they worsen.

Service and Repair Program

While the above items are not covered under warranty, many can be repaired or serviced for a reasonable fee. Our goal is to keep your gear on the water as long as possible.

Closeout and Clearance Warranty

All closeout and clearance reels include a strict 30-day warranty.
