Posted by Dan Mason on 6th Apr 2023 Of all the rods that I have owned over many, many years these are some of the very best. 4 Cypress spinning rod Posted by Vinney on 6th Apr 2023 Over all great rod , light great sensitivity, only con for me is the handle is a bit long. 4 Cypress spinning rod Posted by Lars thoemke on 25th Mar 2023 Very good rod. Durable and the action is good for the medium Power I bought. Would like to add more to my arsenal soon. 3 Cypress Review Posted by Robert P. Baskin on 23rd Feb 2023 I had enough of the hype for the Cypress Spinning rod and decided to purchase one for my own evaluation. I obtained a medium heavy to fish the waters in our area. My review is rather limited as the rivers/lakes are still frozen in North Idaho and I've only fished the Cypress a couple days when it warmed up enough to melt spots that I could cast into. What I like: the length is perfect at 6'9". The action is perfect for pulling Flatty Daddys through the water. The cork split grip is pretty good and comfy for the few short hours I fished. Won't I don't care for: Fuji reel seat, ehhh, it's just average, it could have been nicer for the money so it's nothing exciting however it holds the reel in place so there's that. The grip length: personally it's about 1.5 inches too long for me and keeps getting caught in my jacket pockets. I won't totally disregard the grip length due to my short fishing intervals, in the long run I might enjoy a few extra inches. Time will tell. Overall the rod seems well built, fit and finish is pretty solid, the eyelets haven't cut up the floro, and the cast is pretty good. The BOGO is what make this rod a good deal as I paired it with a Fenrir that I've yet to fish. Buy one and try it for yourself. Next Next
