The Cypress series includes the same length and flex range as our Myakka lineup. It utilizes conventional style Fuji guides rather than American Tackle Microwave guides featured on our Myakka series. The same attention to detail has gone in to the Cypress. From the premium cork split grips to the exceptional blank performance. The Cypress series is a solid choice for both casting and spinning situations, and should be a welcome addition to any angler’s arsenal.

    Cypress MH

Published by Rick Couto on 21st Oct 2020

Medium heavy rods are heavier than what spec sheet says. Very heavy and stiff. Got the 7'3" for frogging but my hand cramps too quickly to throw a frog all day. Build quality is pretty good.

    Awesome Rod

Published by Nick Angiulo on 15th Oct 2020

While not even nearly their most expensive rod series, the Cypress is just a great rod! Its light weight is impressive and its power is tremendous. It loads in such a way to promote long, accurate casts and easily handles fish of all sizes. Highly recommended!!

    Cypress casting rod

Bought the 6'9" and the 7'3" rods. Used them both on the Ca delta the last few days. The 6'9" m did a good job fushing lrg. Topwater lures and flukes. The 7'3" mh was used for senkos. Both rods produced well and I would purchase other Six Gill rods in the future.

    Love Cypress Rods

While among their more affordable rods, the Cypress is just a great feeling and performing bass rod. It loads great and has excellent sensitivity and strength. Highly recommended!

Great rods and a GREAT company

Published by Jason Chapman on 1st Oct 2020

I love my first two casting rods that I ordered from them. I ordered two spinning rods that when they arrived the shipping tube was broke in half. I emailed them in the same day I got a response that they are shipping to new rods at no charge. Once I receive the two replacement rods I will be placing another order for additional rods. This is what I call a standup company and top-notch customer service right here in the GREAT Lone Star state.

Great rods for the price. Cypress have Fiuji quality guides. I have a dozen of these rods and they hold up to all my tournament use and standards.
