    Cypress 7'6" Heavy

Published by Jason Geesey on 2nd Oct 2018

Took advantage of the BOGO sale and needed a couple of Football Jig Rods. These rods are a little heavy but are perfect for Football Jig fishing. I was able to win the ABA Co-Angler on Rayburn using this rod. Will look forward to Winn Grip Rods and I ordered with 2 Wrath Reels. May become a Sixgill primary user.

    7'6" Heavy Cypress Rod

Published by Frank Vanco on 12th Jul 2018

This was my first six gill fishing purchase and I was a little apprehensive at first. As it turns out I was in for a treat. I bought the heavy rod mainly for a-rigs and heavy swimbaits. Thought I might end up with a broom stick, but this rod has incredible sensitivity for so much backbone. Was very pleased the first time I put it to work. Will definitely be purchasing more six gill products!

This is an amazing rod! It’s alittle more stiff than other ones. But I’m okay with that! I love these! Very good quality!

    Great topwater rod!

Published by Unknown on 8th Jun 2018

It is a great a top water rod! The Cypress series was perfect for what I needed it for for! I ordered it in a 7’0 heavy for working a top water frog, plopper,as well as walking top water baits too! It was heavy in the hands it made really good casts and worked the baits the way I wanted it to! Won’t regret adding it to your cart for the rod of your choice!

    Mayakka on a budget

Published by Kenneth Davis on 21st May 2018

This rod for the money is as good as it gets. Same blank as the Myakka with different guides. So the weight and sensitivity is great on this rod. I have 3 of these, heavy, med/hvy and med. All three are excellent. The one I've used the most would be the med. I've been using the 7ftmed with a 3/4 ounce war eagle spinnerbait to locate fish fast. For me it works better than anything else I have for this application. A bite on the spinnerbait is clear and defined. So if I get tagged I know, making my response quicker. A hookset if I'm hooked up or a stall if it only tagged the blades. And you can tell the difference. Great rod at a great price.
