We offer a lifetime warranty for all manufacturing faults and defects. All incidental and wear-and-tear damages are covered under our repair and service program.

LIFETIME REEL WARRANTY

We are proud to announce that all SixGill reels are backed by our lifetime warranty for the original owner.

Not Covered Under Warranty:

• Damage from dropping, treading on, or otherwise striking the reel: This includes any physical damage resulting from accidental impacts, which can compromise the functionality and integrity of the reel. Such damage is considered user-related and is not a manufacturing defect.

• Normal wear-and-tear: This encompasses the natural degradation that occurs over time and with regular use. Specifically, it includes:

  • Bearings and springs that may wear out due to frequent use
  • Moving parts that require routine maintenance
  • Any cosmetic damage that does not affect the performance of the reel

• Saltwater damage: Exposure to saltwater can lead to corrosion and other damage if not properly cared for. We highly recommend rinsing all products after use in saltwater, along with performing standard preventative care such as greasing and oiling your reels to maintain their longevity.

• Damage from lack of care: Neglecting regular maintenance and care for your gear, such as not cleaning, lubricating, or storing it properly, can lead to issues that are not covered under warranty. This includes damage from exposure to harsh environments or failure to address minor problems before they escalate.

Closeout and Clearance Warranty

All closeout and clearance reels come with a strict 30-day warranty.

Domestic Customers:

• Please allow 1-2 business days for your order to ship.
• Packages sent via Ground Advantage Mail, USPS Priority and all UPS Services typically arrive within 2-7 business days.
  
  

  Rod Shipments

  We ship rods through the most reliable carrier to your location. For orders that contain both reels and rods, rods are shipped separately in long cardboard shipping tubes. They may or may not arrive at the same time. Tracking numbers will be emailed to once your order is packed and a label is printed. 

International Customers:

• International shipping rates are calculated based on package weight and dimensions. The displayed shipping cost is an estimate. If additional shipping charges apply, we will contact you.
• Shipping times vary by country. Packages sent via USPS will transfer to your local postal service upon entering your country. Please use your local postal service for tracking after it leaves the U.S.
• Note: International customers are responsible for any duties or taxes.

Returns

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return any unused item for a full refund within 30 days of receipt.

• Eligibility: Items must be unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Process: To initiate a return, please contact us at info@sixgillfishing.com to receive a prepaid return shipping label at no cost. You may also initiate the return yourself through your customer account.
