The 10 footer I used maybe 6 times. Was using a april 4, caught a 1 pound white bass and the rod snapped like twig. The 8 footer also broke the twice very easily. Adam in customer service was very good and offered a replacement at a discount per warranty. After the price of replacement and $20 shipping I don't think it's worth the money for a rod that is made that poorly. Maybe others have had better luck. From my experience don't waste your money on this rod. 2 Arachnid spinning rod that is not spinning. Posted by James Harper on 7th Jan 2023 I was really excited for my new rod.but when it arrives it was supposed to be a spinning rod but it has casting guides on it .my question is why it is advertised spinning when it is truly casting. I will not be able to use it for the purpose untill I strip all the guides and replace with spinning guides. I've been really happy with all that I've bought until this rod. Partly my fault for not looking closer at the photo but when I read spinning I expect spinning guides. 5 great rod Posted by Mitch Lancaster on 23rd Aug 2021 I purchased four of these (12') for spider rigging. Great action, lightweight and yet strong. When purchased on the bogo also is a great value. 5 great rod Posted by Mitch Lancaster on 23rd Aug 2021 I purchased four of these (12') for spider rigging. Has sensitivity to feel light bites but still swing in larger crappie and use 1/4oz jigs. Over all very happy with purchase. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5. In crappie market there’s comparable rods and lower price points. If bought on BOGO price is negated to be even cheaper than other comparable. 5 Super light and sensitive Posted by Justin McIntosh on 8th Oct 2020 I have the 8'6" 2-piece. It's feather light and very sensitive. Has zero issues detecting a bite from a 4" bluegill. Love it! 5 Excellent Rod Posted by Shortbus on 30th Sep 2020 The light weight and balance of these rods are fantastic. Paired with a Deluge reel the combo comes in at just under 13 ounces before you add line. The 12ft rod allows me to cover more area and move the boat less.
