Overview Warranty Product Videos Reviews Product Description We’ve reworked our original flagship series, the Myakka, to be even better. The carbon construction is the same to maintain the history of durability of the series. However, that’s where the comparison ends. We’ve reduced the diameter of the blank, leading to a considerably lighter design. We’ve changed the reel seat to mirror our Siren, allowing for more blank access and thus greater sensitivity. For a further boost to sensitivity as well as ergonomics, the cork grips are slimmer and more friendly for a variety of hand sizes. The most immediately obvious change to the series is a departure from the American Tackle Microwave guides to Fuji Micro guides. However, we’ve mirrored the guide formula from our original Myakka series in order to ensure there is no drop in sensitivity through guide placement. The revamped Myakka series is an ideal all-purpose rod at a killer price. I even recieved one from the factor mailing tube bent out of shape. 5 Light weight sensitive Posted by Larry Baker on 7th Feb 2020 Good construction built good 5 Great rods Posted by Ryan P on 7th Jan 2020 I was skeptical at first, but that disappeared once I got on the water. Very nice rods. 5 Sensitive, comfortable, great rod! Posted by Greg on 1st May 2018 I’ve finally had a chance to spend some time on the water with my Myakka spinning rods, and I am super impressed. I have both the 7’2” M and 7’4” MH. Super-sensitive rod tip, comfortable to hold and fish with for extended periods, and plenty of backbone for wrestling giants. I’m so glad I decided to update my spinning rods, and will be grabbing a couple more soon. Great buy!! 5 awesome. Posted by Timothy Pritts on 25th Apr 2018 Just purchased 2 more combos from Sixgill due to the fact I’m tired or tying different lures on all the time. I fish with 2 cabelas Black label combos and all I do is take the stuff off them and tie them to my Sixgill. 5 Great Rods!!! Posted by Robbie on 23rd Apr 2018 These rods are truly some of the best rods on the market today!! I've been tournament bass fishing for 20 years, and I have recommended them to all my fishingles friends! They are sensitive, light, and strong. Plus love the American tackle eyes, they virtually eliminate line twist!! I paired one my 7' medium with the Karve 2000...by far my favorite spinning rod set up! 5 Myakka Spinning Rod Review Posted by Eric Power on 5th Apr 2018 I currently have one Myakka 7ft 2in Medium spinning rod with a Drekker 2000 reel. What a fish catching combo this is! I used this rod a lot last month fishing 10 days on Lake of the Ozarks throwing finesse jigs with 8 lb line. Even though it was a tad stiff for the application it performed very well. I am getting ready to purchase another one or two in a medium light then my spinning rod arsenal will be complete. The microwave guide system is truly amazing. it definitely helps with line control creating ultra smooth and accurate casts! 5 MYAKKA Spinning Rods Posted by Lucas Stubbe on 11th Mar 2018 I am very impressed with the look , feel and quality of the rods that are put out. The flexibility of the medium and ultra lite rods are outstanding. 5 The PERFECT Rod!!! Posted by steven fretz on 22nd Oct 2017 I can not say enough good things about this rod!!! As a SixGill prostaff angler I made my efforts to try out some of the rods I’ve yet to acquire & while I’ve enjoyed lime but the Myakka is in my opinion the perfect rod. My only issue now is finding a way to acquire 5 more without my girlfriend noticing Previous Next Previous Next
