I been using a 7ft ML Saga for Walleyes and is performing wonderfully. Use it for pulluing rigs and throwing plastics. Very light and good sensitive.

    SixGill has won my business

Published by Unknown on 11th May 2018

I have used my Saga rod several times now and I'm amazed at the quality. I have always been a skeptic so my first order from SixGill was a lower end rod. Figured I would get a feel for the company without risking alot of my hard earned money. I now have multiple rods from lower priced to highest priced, and also have multiple reels. And I intend on buying more SixGill product too! Great products that I would put up against anything else on the market and the best part is their customer service!

Saga Rods will not leave you Blue!

This series of Rods from SixGill is a beautiful sight to behold, the rods are pretty true to their respected weight class as far as compared to the other lines of SixGill rods I have ( creature and Cypress). Great sensitivity and all the backbone you need. But Hey, don't take my word for it check them out for your self.

Sensitive enough for walleye and enough backbone to handle a big pike or musky.

Not going to find a better rod for the price.

Well I've taken the Saga out twice now and boated 9 fish with the rod and feel I'm ready for a review. Medium action Saga Spinning Rod 7'3"

Blank: Outstanding, casts extremely far with its moderate action, also surprisingly sensitive.

Grips: fairly comfortable, rod is well balanced in this area. Not quite as good as 100 dollar rods from lamiglas comfort wise.

Overall: Comparing it to similiar prices rods I own from lamiglas and 13 fishing this rod takes the cake. It's easily lighter then any of them, more sensitive, perfectly balanced and just feels amazing in your hands... Something about the way the rod loads up in a cast is just extremely satisfying. Loses out in the area of grip comfort and backbone (other rods are not moderate action so that was to be expected).
