    My new go-to

Even if it's not the top-end rod, it can hold its own against the best. Light, great feel, great backbone, and the color-matching is on point with the reels

    Saga Series Casting Rod

Published by Colby on 28th Jun 2019

Best rods I have used. It is light, durable, sensitive, and is great for any application. I own 5 of these rods, and I have not had any problems with them yet. (I’ve only fished 4 out of the 5 rods) The Handle length is perfect for me. The EVA foam is nice, in my opinion it is better then cork handles. The bend in the rod is really great because it really lets you load up and cast the bait far. The reel seat is sturdy, and I have not had problems with it loosening

    Saga Casting Rod 702M

Published by Roy Bartolome on 23rd Jun 2019

The Saga rod is my 1st venture into the world of Sixgill. I bought this rod as part of a BOGO deal and am very impressed. It's lightweight and has plenty of backbone to pull the fish out of cover. I only fish saltwater and the rod has had no issues. I initially used it to throw chatterbaits and I could feel each vibration of the lure allowing me to adjust my retrieve as needed. My last outing, I threw a Jigpara Spin type lure and this rod easily outdistanced the other rod it was on. Again, it held up to the numerous bass I caught on it. I would definitely recommend this rod to anyone looking to try Sixgill.

    7 ft medium

Published by Nick on 23rd Jun 2019

Excellent customer service. The rod itself is a bit heavy. I bought 2 rods. The 6.6 and the 7 ft medium. I love the 6.6 it’s light at the top is perfect. The 7 ft is a bit heavy. Comparing them to other rods at the same price point I can’t complain. I will be buying more in the future.
