Overview Warranty Product Videos Reviews Product Description We’ve reworked our original flagship series, the Myakka, to be even better. The carbon construction is the same to maintain the history of durability of the series. However, that’s where the comparison ends. We’ve reduced the diameter of the blank, leading to a considerably lighter design. We’ve changed the reel seat to mirror our Siren, allowing for more blank access and thus greater sensitivity. For a further boost to sensitivity as well as ergonomics, the cork grips are slimmer and more friendly for a variety of hand sizes. The most immediately obvious change to the series is a departure from the American Tackle Microwave guides to Fuji Micro guides. However, we’ve mirrored the guide formula from our original Myakka series in order to ensure there is no drop in sensitivity through guide placement. The revamped Myakka series is an ideal all-purpose rod at a killer price. To the point where I'm not sure the guides/eyes are the correct size for the rod that I purchased. 4 Perfect rod Posted by LoganHawj on 30th Nov 2021 I bought this rod in medium power for my finesse spinning setup. It has not disappointed and has become my favorite spinning rod. It works exactly as described, great sensitivity and enough backbone to set the hook on any fish. The reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because for some reason I tend to get more wind knots with this rod then my other spinning rods. I've lost a few lures because of it when casting. I think if they would have made the last guide ring closer to the reel it would help with this issue. Other than that, I am very satisfied with their product. 4 Myakka spinning rod Posted by Justin Turpin on 27th Nov 2021 I really love the feel of these rods and they are very sensitive and handle the fish very well. They load up nicely and have the backbone to haul the bass in. I also love the bait keeper. I like the way you don't have to unhook your Texas rigged plastic. I wish all my six gill rods had this type of keeper 5 Myakka spinning rod Posted by Allen J Trevino on 17th Nov 2021 I purchased the 7'4" MH Spinning version since the Octant inshore series wasn't out yet and absolutely love it for throwing heavier topwater lures and heavier swimbaits inshore. It's extremely light yet has a serious backbone while remaining sensitive enough to feel the wake when walking the dog. I can't recommend this rod enough, I need to pick up another soon as well as a couple Octant rods. 5 7' 2" Medium Rod Myakka 6'8" medium light Posted by Steven C Hill on 15th Nov 2021 Amazing Rod, Handles 20-30" Redfish and 20"+ Speckled trout wonderfully. Great casting as well. 5 Amazing rod Posted by Sean Thompson on 13th Nov 2021 This rod is amazing. It is so sensitive and comfortable 5 Myakka spinning rods Posted by Ray Velez on 22nd Oct 2021 I bought 2 rods at the buy one get sale 7'2 medium-light action and 7'6" medium-heavy action. Ti tried them both out the med-light rod works great with everything from spinnerbaits to top water line flows through the rod with ease I never had guides so small on rod before but these guides make the line like silk through the pole. The medium heavy rod I tried out as well plenty of back bone with 3/8-1/2 once lures with plenty of sensitivity on tip that you feel the vibration of my spinnerbait right to my hand. 4 I'm just not use to the microguides makes slip bobbering tough Posted by Jeffrey Appollo on 10th Oct 2021 Looking forward to receiving the 4 reels and 2 more rods. When you going to start shipping them preorders out ? 4 I'm just not use to the microguides makes slip bobbering tough Posted by Jeffrey Appollo on 10th Oct 2021 Looking forward to receiving the 4 reels and 2 more rods.
