Overview Warranty Product Videos Reviews Product Description We’ve reworked our original flagship series, the Myakka, to be even better. The carbon construction is the same to maintain the history of durability of the series. However, that’s where the comparison ends. We’ve reduced the diameter of the blank, leading to a considerably lighter design. We’ve changed the reel seat to mirror our Siren, allowing for more blank access and thus greater sensitivity. For a further boost to sensitivity as well as ergonomics, the cork grips are slimmer and more friendly for a variety of hand sizes. The most immediately obvious change to the series is a departure from the American Tackle Microwave guides to Fuji Micro guides. However, we’ve mirrored the guide formula from our original Myakka series in order to ensure there is no drop in sensitivity through guide placement. The revamped Myakka series is an ideal all-purpose rod at a killer price. Got the7'6" mh the action is at little heavier than mh but not quite a heavy. The sensitivity is amazing very light weight rod but plenty of power. Will be buying more of these rods in the future, thanks sixgill for a great product 4 Myakka Rod 7’6 H Posted by Landon on 3rd Feb 2022 Quality is great and has a great backbone but it is front heavy and weight is not distributed evenly. But that is not a deal breaker. Still an amazing rod. 4 Myakka Rod 7’6 H Posted by Landon on 3rd Feb 2022 Quality is great and has a great backbone but it is front heavy and weight is not distributed evenly. Posted by Brian Kuehlem on 26th Jan 2022 Awesome Rod, paired with a hammar 5 Super light Posted by Dan Souza on 31st Dec 2021 This rod is a dream come true! With the micro guides and the Hammar reel it is almost impossible to birds nest. My first time using it was a very windy day and I was casting into the wind and only got one minor overrun. 5 Myakka Posted by Lee Richards on 23rd Dec 2021 I have yet to get a bad SixGill rod and the Myakka Definitely is one of my top rods. Paired with my Hamarr it is a deadly combination. Very well built and comfortable to use. 5 Myakka Rods Posted by Robert Bauer on 1st Dec 2021 Love these rods I have 4 of them best rods for the money there is. 3 7 foot MH Posted by Warner Lee on 19th Nov 2021 My rating mostly comes from preference. I got a 7 foot MH for Texas rigging. Handle is a little too short for a 7 foot rod and leaves the rod feeling top heavy and unbalanced while fishing with it. I much prefer the cypress cork grips over the myakka cork grips. Sensitivity and backbone are great. Wish I would have got the cypress 7 foot Previous Next Previous Next
