Whether running squarebills through shallow stump-fields or deep-cranking for lock-jawed winter bass, the Kranken series is up to the task. The taper allows you to feel every wobble and bump of your crankbait, while the composite material means that even more aggressive hooksets won't lead to you missing an eat or ripping your trebles out of the bass. I’ve been fishing with crankbait rods for 25+ years. I’ve own four Kranken Rods now for 3 years. My favorite is 7’6 MH and 7’6 H, my go to rods for crankbait fishing in 5-20’ Deep 5 Best crankbait rod I've used Posted by Cole swire on 19th Feb 2023 Excellent rod. I have one in 7'4 med and 7'4 med/hvy. The medium throws squarebills perfectly. Paired with a Hamarr with 12lb flouro is a dynamite combo.
