Overview Warranty Product Videos Reviews Product Description The original Dreadnought reel quickly became our favorite spinning reel for both freshwater and inshore saltwater use. The latest generation has taken that bar and raised it even higher. Ultra-smooth thanks to 11 (10+1) stainless steel ball bearings and containing a sturdy carbon disc drag, it is more than capable of sustained abuse on the water. This reel is ideal for drop-shotting for bass to free-lining bait in the salt and everything in between. The matte-finished aluminum body is both durable and eye-catching, and the spool porting and blue accents bring the reel in line with the rest of the range of SixGill reels and rods. Whether your sights are set on big bass at your next tournament or a record-smashing snook, the Dreadnought is a necessary addition to any armada! Ivy on 25th Aug 2022 This reel has Real Backbone no matter the size! 5 Dreadnought! Posted by David Syrop on 8th Feb 2022 After fishing with my two new reels in both freshwater and salt. I'll just say the drag is phenomenal. The components are excellent as well. I purchased two on the bogo deal. Definitely worth it. I'll purchase the 4000 size in the future for larger saltwater applications. Great real Sixgill. Well done! 3 Dreadnought spinning reel Posted by Jon dixon on 26th Jan 2022 Only had this reel a short while. Functionally seems to work fine. Cast smooth. Overall all cosmetic finish doesn’t seem as smooth and polished as my diawa Tatula spinning reels. Bought on a bogo so price point was about half as much as my Tatula. Give it 3 stars just because of lack of experience with it. So far it does seem fine. 4 Dreadnought Posted by Kirk D Gossett on 21st Jan 2022 This is a great reel, definitely a workhorse that'll stand up for whatever you want to catch. 5 Awesome Posted by Tim T on 21st Jan 2022 Awesome reels. I have replaced all my other reels with these. Previous Next Previous Next
