    All Sixgill Fishing products are guaranteed.  We are proud of our quality and workmanship and proudly back it with a warranty to make sure you're never left high and dry.  We offer a warranty program for all manufacturing faults and defects.  All incidental and wear and tear damages are covered under our repair and service program.

    Loss or Theft is not covered under our Warranty program.

    All warranties are covered under the discretion of Sixgill Fishing products.  If it is determined that the issue wasn't a result of alteration, incident, neglect, or normal wear and tear, we will repair it for a fee.

    Items marked Closeout are excluded from our warranty program.

    5-Year Reel Warranty

    • Hyperion Series and Crius Series reels are backed by our 5 year warranty to the original owner.  
    • Damage by dropping, treading on, or otherwise striking the reel is not covered under warranty.
    • Normal wear and tear is not covered under warranty.  This includes but is not limited to bearings and other moving parts.
    • Saltwater damage is not covered under warranty.  We highly suggest rinsing all products after use in saltwater.

    1-Year Reel Warranty

    • Typhoon Series, Karve Series, and Drekar Series reels are backed by our 1 year warranty to the original owner.  
    • Damage by dropping, treading on, or otherwise striking the reel is not covered under warranty.
    • Normal wear and tear is not covered under warranty.  This includes but is not limited to bearings and other moving parts.
    • Saltwater damage is not covered under warranty.  We highly suggest rinsing all products after use in saltwater.

    Limited Lifetime Rod Warranty

    • Myakka Series and Cypress Series rods are covered by our limited lifetime warranty to the original owner.
    • Rods broken by incidental damage of any type are not covered by warranty.  New sections may be available for purchase if available.
    • Broken guides are not covered under warranty.
    • Saltwater damage is not covered under warranty.  We highly suggest rinsing all products after use in saltwater.

    • Creature Series and Skykomish Series rods are covered by our 1 year warranty to the original owner.

    Warranty Claims

    To file a warranty claim, contact us with your issue and proof of purchase (receipt, email invoice, etc). If we have you return the item, we will provide you with a pre-paid shipping label.  Once a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will replace the item at no charge.  If the issue is ruled to be anything but a manufacturing defect, we will consult with the owner of the product before performing any action after the damage has been assessed.

    Repair and Service Program

    1-Piece Rods

    In the event of a broken 1-piece rod, send us the logoed portion of the rod, along with your contact information (name, address, email, and phone number).  Once we receive it, we will contact you for payment of the repair fee and return charges ($35 plus shipping at cost).  Once payment is received, we will send out your new rod.

    Multi-piece Rods

    In the event of a broken multi-piece rod, send us the entire rod, along with your contact information (name, address, email, and phone number).  Once we receive it, we will contact you for payment of the repair fee and return charges.  Once payment is received, we will send out your repaired rod.

    Reels

    In the event of a broken or damaged reel, send us the reel (stripped of any line), along with your contact information (name, address, email, and phone number).  Once we receive it, we will contact you for the repair fee, any parts, and return shipping fee.  After payment is received, your reel will be serviced and returned.  If you want a quote on the costs of repairs, please email us at info@sixgillfishing.com
