Overview Product Videos Reviews Product Description The Chopper Series Spinner/Chatterbait rod adds another critical style to our technique specific lineup. The rod tapers down from an extra fast glass tip into a fast carbon body, for both raw strength and sensitivity. The glass tip allows the rod to progressively load, minimizing slack, while the carbon body provides much needed sensitivity when the bite occurs. Its specialized blank, finished with rubberized cork grips and Fuji guides, ends the search for the perfect bladed bait rod at the Chopper series. I feel every turn of the blade on retrieve but can distinguish between a bite and a snag. Giving 4 stars for lack of lengths. Only offered in 6 foot 8 and 7 foot 2. Strictly preference but I would like a 6 foot 10 for spinnerbaits. 5 Chopper Posted by Cary on 14th Nov 2021 Great rod I have four of these use for my spinner baits and chatter baited very nice tip and great back bone. You won’t be disappointed in these rods tight line everyone 4 Love the shorter butt section for shorter arms Posted by Jim Lumpkin on 13th Nov 2021 I like this rod more for spinnerbait than chatterbait. I love the shorter butt section for my shorter arms but it does have more of a H feel than MH on the 7’2”. I have only used it twice so far so it will take some getting used to but not quite as sensitive at the tip as I would prefer to feel the blade action especially on chatterbaits. I changed from Cypress to Chopper. 4 Chopper series Posted by Unknown on 13th Nov 2021 Beautiful looking rod, with what I think is the perfect action, fast tip, great backbone. 5 Chopper 6'8" MH Posted by David Grammer on 13th Nov 2021 Perfect rod for spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, buzzbaits, etc.! The way the tip loads on the bite is fantastic! Plenty of backbone to get them to the boat! Paired with a 6.5 Hamarr, it's becoming one of my favorite combos! 4 Chopper series Posted by William roos on 13th Apr 2021 Great rod, would like to see in a 7’2” heavy and 6’8” heavy 4 Chopper rods Posted by Troy Settle on 25th Mar 2021 Thses rods are fantastic, the only possible improvement would be lighter weight, but I still I prefer them over the competition 5 Chopper Posted by Kevin on 21st Mar 2021 This rod has great action and feel. I will be expanding my arsenal with Sixgill rods 5 Chopper Posted by Ryan on 12th Mar 2021 Absolutely awesome rod. Strong but sensitive. Previous Next Previous Next
