This is a very nice rod if I had the money I would change all my rods to the line of rods.

I paired the Scythe and Wraith for an incredibly light combo. The Wraith was smooth as usual but I was very pleased with sensitivity of the Scythe and love the sic guides. This combo has quickly become my favorite setup. SixGill has always had incredible customer service but their equipment is top notch. I will be converting all of my fishing equipment to Sixgill. Give SixGill a try. You won’t regret it!

Scythe rods are super lite maybe to lite 7'2 medium broke while swinging in a 2pd fish, first time using rod. MH 7'2 worked great 2 fish over 4lbs, used the net on those. Very sensitive rod hope it will last.

    Light yet Sturdy

I’ve only had this out a few times. I have it paired with my left handed Hyperion.

It’s easy on the muscles especially after constantly throwing and cranking.

    Super product.

    Disappointed in my New rod!

Published by Dan Redick on 29th Apr 2018

To some it's not a Big deal, but for me it is ! Couldn't believe that the new scythe rod does not have a hook keeper! Purchased the less expensive Saga and it has one. I Do Not like pinning the lure back to the reel! I really appreciate and like Six gill products, but really feel like they missed the boat on this one ! It seems to me like no keeper would be on a low budget rod, not a quality product!

    SCYTHE - Worth the Wait

Published by Jeff Young on 23rd Apr 2018

I have a 7' med and a 7' mh. Had the chance to fish them hard for 3 days last weekend. So light and sensitive its amazing. I have Wraiths on both of them and they are truly an awesome combo. These are the first rods I've owned in this price range although I've had the opportunity to fish with 500 dollar Gary Loomis Edge rods and I will say without a doubt the Scythe is comparable! Save your money for an opportunity to get the Scythe if you don't have one. I'll be saving for more!
