This reel has quickly become my go to reel. It's lighter than others of the same size but more than capable and being able to count on your gear makes a huge difference. The drag is smooth and the reel casts like a dream.

    Reaver Reel

This is the smoothest operating spinning reel I own. I have spooled it with 17 lb Gliss line from Ardent. Using a 6'6" medium rod with a fast tip, it casts 1/16 oz lures 40 yards effortlessly, with easy control. I haven't caught any fish over 2 pounds with it yet, but, come Spring, I look forward to winning some contests with some hefty bass.
