Product Description

The Halfling rod series brings back our popular Kayak-handle as first seen with the Creature-K series. A considerably shorter grip ideal for fishing from kayaks and other seated positions (especially when PFDs or heavier layers are in use), it's also great for bank-fishing scenarios and other situations where underhanded casts and flips are required. The blank is moderate fast, excellent for a wide range of techniques. A great general-purpose rod, the Halfling rod series also benefits from the added comfort and grip of our custom soft polymer handles and the dependable durability and function of Fuji guides.

    I originally got these for slip bobbers in deep water. But I think I will also use them for jigging raps and ripping raps for walleye. Soft tip to help keep em pinned tight when using jigging raps, but stout enough to battle hog walleyes. Super light also, and the grips are great.

    a little heavy and I get same casting distance with a 6 ft rod using same reel and line size. I like the short handle
