Product Description

The Halfling rod series brings back our popular Kayak-handle as first seen with the Creature-K series. A considerably shorter grip ideal for fishing from kayaks and other seated positions (especially when PFDs or heavier layers are in use), it's also great for bank-fishing scenarios and other situations where underhanded casts and flips are required. This variation brings a faster option in contrast to the moderate-fast action of the original.

    I bought the halfing to use a worm rod. It’s a 7ft. M/H paired with Arrival 7.0.1. This is an awesome setup. Thanks to all the Guys at SixGill.

    I made a guess and ordered the medium action 7ft and boy am I glad I did. This rod makes fighting a fish so much more fun. It also casts easier. Kinda like the fish I’m hooked on it.

    nice rod with a short butt and great characteristics. As stated in my review on the Anura the paint on these seems kinda fickle. Mine chipped on the first time out. They are sexy as heck and a great looking rod but buyer just beware that the paint on mine took a beating with some moderate use and boat shake. Prob my fault. But I suggest buying a sock or case for them or storing below deck if you have that ability. I was able to rod epoxy mine, and seems like it is not a strength issue, but the paint was easily chipped.
