Product Description

The newest version of the Cyclone reel uses a similar body style as our popular Crius and Wraith reels, but that’s just the start. The revamped spool management system is what really defines the reel: thoughtful modifications to the magnetic system, spool spindle, and pinion gear all combine to ensure that the spool is under control at every point in the cast. Backlashes occur due to sudden changes in spool speed, changes that are managed by this new system. As a result, backlashing is minimized when the system is set correctly, even without heavy use of the tension knob. Now, the Cyclone will not only be one of our most affordable reels, it will also be one of our most caster-friendly, for those at any level of experience. Available in several gear ratios, the updated Cyclone is ready for a wide range of casting applications; don’t be surprised if these reels quickly take over your rod locker!

    I have purchased 6 cyclone reels and 2 cypress rods reels have worked fine except for handles the knobs get loose at handle the rods have been great can't beat them I fish year round so they get used alot

    When I first paired the reel with a myakka rod I thought the reel stood up kinda high not a low profile but it still felt good in my hand first thing I through with it was a 1/4 ounce jig the wind was blow 15-20 mph but after a few cast to set the brakes there weren't any issues with the reel.

    I purchased two cyclone reels with the BOGO special and absolutely love them. Very smooth long casting with very limited backlash. Compared to my reels that I’ve paid a lot of money for, I would rather use my Cyclone. So I bought 2 more
