I was looking for a 7’6” casting rod to get some distance on my crank baits. These rods feel excellent in the hand. Great balance and excellent casting distance. Will be a repeat customer

Great backbone, not too sensitive tip, light, and feels great paired with my Crius

    Great all around rod.

Published by Shane Frady on 10th Jan 2020

Recently picked up a couple of Creature Rods from SixGill, a 7' MH short handle and a 7' 2" MH with the standard length handle. These are my "Do Everything" rods, sure I have a couple of dedicated rods for crankbaits, etc but that's for another review. I do a long of pond hopping with my boys as well as some River and Lake fishing and these rods paired with Cyclone reels have handled everything I've thrown at them so far! Thanks SixGill!

    Creature / Crius

Published by Lonnie E Owen Sr on 7th Jan 2020

I’ve purchased 14 of the rods and so far they are working out good. Now on the other hand the Crius reals are not so up to par. When putting them on the rod seats and tightened down they flex the real. With that the real handle when realed binds up. This is on all 8 reals I bought. As well as the drag and braking system is something to be desired. Maybe the Wraith series are a better all around real. I will have to order 1 and see.

    Thanks.
